In a fascinating conversation, Adriana and guests explore commissions that weave craft quality of thinking into large-scale projects in the built environment, along with floor-to-ceiling 3-D stained glass windows, buildings made of mushrooms, and hundreds of sheep...

Kate Maestri
Architectural Glass Artist

Kate is a London based artist who works to commission on site-specific installations for architectural public art projects in
the UK and internationally. Collaborating closely with architects and engineers, she designs contemporary glass artworks that are seamlessly integrated within the building, working in harmony with the architecture.

"I find the mid-stage of the commissioning process most rewarding. The engaging and exciting part of the journey that brings together different people, each with their own specialities, to make some curious and beautiful pieces. There are so many things you don't see until you've brought the right people together. The most impossible relationships have endless possibilities."
